Her expression grew more and more mischievous as ideas sprang to mind. Really, what was life without surprises, and oh how she loved to surprise people. Iaslia looked back at her cousin and batted her eyes innocently. "Oh but Kess, if you don't know, they can't blame you."
It wasn't that Iaslia was difficult on purpose, well, not most of the time. And that was really with men who thought they stood a chance with gaining the red head's attention. Its just, why shouldn't you use what you were good at? And something Ias particularly excelled in was surprises.
Ias fixed Kess with a broad grin and slid forward till she sat on the chair arm, long legs dangling. "Don't worry cus. It'll give us sleeping time."

Her lips twisted to a sideways smile. On one hand, the idea of some mischief was exciting, on the other it was exasperating. Not one to start it, she was not going to get in the way of it. In reality she enjoyed Iaslia's antics. It always brought excitement.
Kesstriel leaned forward in her chair. "Well whatever it is your planning, I'll bet it'll be good." She paused and grinned at a thought. "I wonder how much you can make that vein on A'riks neck bulge this time." She attempted to and failed to suppress a laugh.
She settled back, arms folded over her chest, curled into her large sweater, still giggling. She twisted a finger in a loose tendril of hair and flashed clear eyes are her cousin.

Iaslia giggled with a glee that any who did not know her might find disturbing. She had not the pure brilliance of her sire, but she certainly inherited his cunning. The young woman flopped back across the large chair, kicking her legs as she giggled.
Just the thought of A'rik turning purple and that vein bulging always kicked the girl into near hysterics of laughter. After a couple moments she caught her breath and leaned forward enough to lock eyesight with Kess again, still grinning.
"Hey, it wasn't my fault all the tunnel snakes got out of that basket. All I did was leave them for him. He didn't haaaave to look at what was inside." Well, it was the sort of basket the cooks used to carry bubbly pies, and one couldn't see in when the top was down. But oh, how entertaining was his expression when he did open it.

Kess grinned as she remembered the day. "Well it wasn't your fault they got out, but it was your fault that they were there in the first place." Her silver eyes were bright. She untucked her leg from beneath her and folded them over each other. Her hands rested neatly in her lap.
"I only hope todays lesson is about something interesting, if I listen to one more retelling of his impression or what to expect during a Hatching I swear... he'll regret his lesson plan post hast." She let out a giggle.
