Pens where all the herd beasts for the Weyr are kept. A large part of the bowl is set aside for their pasture. Riders may bring their dragons here to feed and this is where Flights often begin.

Right in front of the main Weyr entrance is the staging area for training. Wing practice begins and ends here, Weyr Games are also staged here.

Almost entirely abandoned now, this was once the area for the runnerbeasts and the herdbeasts to be kept at night. Only a small part of the stables remain useful.
