Benden Weyr. With a new Weyrleader defected from Fort and an alliance with Selenitas Weyr, Benden seems on its way to a victory in the war...or is it? With a Weyr that distrusts its leader, many of the Lord Holders rebelling against a rule they are unaccustomed to, and some of Weyrleader J'lorin's closest followers at a different Weyr, it would be a lie to say that Benden Weyr has made a complete transformation...can J'lorin win over those accustomed to the old Benden rule? And if he can't, how can Benden ever get anywhere?
Fort Weyr. Once a Weyr of strict hierarchy and militaristic brilliance, Fort Weyr is rapidly turning into the once-loathed eat-or-be-eaten society that Benden once was under their Weyrleader, R'anatar. With a new alliance between Benden Weyr and Selenitas, how will Fort react once they find out? Can we possibly hope that they won't attack...? And if they do, will Selenitas be strong enough to ward them off? It has to be said, Fort Weyr certainly is a powerful enemy...
High Reaches Weyr. Resettled by a fleeing Fort goldrider, High Reaches Weyr, once living on a dream, has fallen into a living nightmare. From the few Selenitas Riders that have returned from High Reaches, it is clear that drugs have been rampant throughout the Weyr, melting the bonds between dragon and Rider down. Many of the High Reaches Riders are addicted to this mysterious drug – but is High Reaches as helpless as it appears?
Selenitas Weyr. A newly-formed alliance with Benden has brought this Southern Weyr, formerly interested in staying far, far away from any warfare, into the Northern War irreversibly. Once recognized for being a safe haven for defects from the War, Selenitas is that no longer: How can they trust defects from either Weyr now, if they ever had? No doubt there are some Riders very, very unhappy with the Benden alliance, as well...with bronzerider P'rit and greenrider Isla from Benden to teach the wings fighting, will Selenitas turn into a war-obsessed Weyr, too?
Current Plots
- The mysterious disappearances continue...who's behind them, and is it possible to make them stop, or will Selenitas slowly dwindle in population until there's nobody left at all?
- An alliance has been formed with Benden Weyr, and two of their better fighters have been sent to Selenitas to teach our wings fighting...
- Poison has been deposited in Selenitas's main River, poisoning countless dragons, Salamandyrs, firelizards, and whers, and the Junior Weyrleader was attacked -- almost killed...who was behind this?
- Seven Riders, claiming to be from High Reaches Weyr, have just showed up, shaken and injured, at Selenitas, saying that their Weyr has been completely destroyed by Fort. Is this true, or is it just a ploy...? And if it is the truth, will Selenitas be next?
