Marching with purpose, Estess approached the little green with a facial expression akin to a storm cloud. Zhatiath ruffled her wings and tilted her head to examine her rider. She simply could not understand why a game had annoyed Estess so much, but then again many things people did seemed rather odd to the tiny green. Right now though, she had more important things to think about, like hunger.
Dark brown eyes glared up into slowly whirling red ones. What a pair they were. Estess thumped the dragon's shoulder then flopped down on the ledge. "Oh go kill something. And do it slowly." She seemed to take a morbid love in watching Zhatiath feed, many of the riders called her half dragon herself with the temper she had.
Why would I do it slowly? I am hungry! The little green spun and fell off the ledge in a dive, opening dark sails as she plummeted downwards. Ever neat, she picked a herdbeast quickly and pounced on its spine. As the dragon began to feed, Estess found herself somewhat mollified. Feeding Zhatiath always made her feel better.
She couldn't believe she'd lost that game of pokirr, she'd simply been out cheated and that rarely happened. Two queen cards up her sleeve and she'd still lost. With a snort, Estess drew her knees up to her chest and watched as Zhatiath pounced on a second beast. Ah, but at least she always had this to cheer her up.

Rakynth ran along ahead of L'kus moving as fast as he could on the ground before leaping and gliding into the herd within the feeding grounds snatching one of the herd beasts up before landing. L'kus leisurely walked towards the feeding grounds barely paying attention to his surroundings. He sat down on the ledge several feet away from the green rider. We need to go hunting these creatures are boring they do not run. "I Know Rakynth but we are rarely allowed to leave the weyr. Enjoy what you can for now," L'kus leaned back until he was lying back withs his feet dangling over the ledge, so far it had seemed that he had not noticed Estess.

The tiny green was finishing off her second herdbeast as the massive form of Rakynth shot into view. She picked at her claws, ever neat and mrred a quiet hello to the bronze. Not that he was likely to notice, easily the smallest green in the Weyr she was rarely noticed. Especially by the bronzes, they were far too caught up in their own little worlds.
Estess's line of thinking was similar as L'kus stalked over, only she was wondering weather it was best to see if her luck had turned around or to leave the grumpy rider be. Not even a graduated Weyrling yet and he already had an ego the size of three of her. Bronze riders, they were all like that.
She turned her head back to her little green, pointedly ignoring L'kus. Proper manners to shards, Estess had no desire for a lecture right about now. Zhatiath settled her wings back in place and continued to clean her claws off. Two herbeasts, the green had not be kidding when she said she was hungry.
