A challenging grin spread across the small rider's face and she laughed. This time it was genuine, more than a simple drunken giggle. Not bet against her, well this one was smart, now wasn't he. Estess decided once and for all that she liked this young man, far better than she liked his overbearing brother. Actually, most of that family was a pain in the rear as far as the little greenrider was concerned.
Estess spun around and tugged at his arm, taking hold of his hand once more. Get out of here? Oh shards and shells, yes. Anywhere would do really, and she found herself grinning challengingly back at Evalos once more.
"Well..... Zhatiath is asleep and my weyr is certinaly a quiet enough place considering." She tapped her chin in thought and nodded. "Plus I think I have a skin of wine hidden still. Annika managed this new white that's just lovely. I nabbed one from the cellar." The giggle that escaped following that sentance was once again somewhere between drunkenness and genuine glee.

She had a contagious laugh so he found himself laughing in return to hers. Evalos wondered why he had never noticed her before tonight. Perhaps he had not been trying to notice anyone. It was hard to get around to other people when one was primarily concerned with making it through Candidacy alive.
Evalos was never suprised when women found him interesting enough to spend the evening with. He assummed he could be a likeable person when he wanted to be. Sometimes he preferred to remain aloof. Obviously a drunk Evalos was not the same as a sober one. Grinning back at her he said, "Sounds perfect."
She had wine to boot! This Estess woman was quite the find tonight. He gave her hand a small squeeze. "Cute, your a thief as a well as a greenrider and a swindler. I am absolutely never going to get on your bad side if I can help it."

Ha! Thats right as rain it was, Estess was all kinds of trouble and she knew it. What she didn't know is how lucky she was to have grown up in the Weyr. Outside would literally have been a whole different world for the uninhibited woman.
"Well then! What are we waiting for." Estess took off, in a rather wobbly (though she thought she was doing fine) run. Luckily for Estess, she'd made her way from the Hall to her weyr that she could do it blind. So, drunk was not so much of a problem, especially when one considered how many times she made it back drunk.
So she wheeled her way up the stairs and through corridors with a just as tipsy Evalos behind her. This was turning out to be a much better night than she had anticipated.
(To the riders weyrs! Onward hoooo!)
