"Indeed!" Evalos could only laugh at her exuberance. He would have to follow her and hope she knew how to get to her own weyr. The petite rider still had his hand so when she ran, he lost it and almost fell over.
She was quick, he would give her that. Despite the being a bit too far gone, he was able to run fairly well. Turns of running would do that for you. Whether he was running straight or not was hard for him to tell. All he knew was he was giving chase to the greenrider. Something he figured riders liked to do as much as dragons did.
He caught up to her eventually, slightly winded but not willing to let her win. "Are we there yet?" He said impishly. Evalos would go however far at this point. The promise of more fun and wine was too much to resist.

Pushing back the curtain to her little home, Estess relinquished Evalos's hand for the moment. Where did she put that wine? The little weyr was as usual, a mess. Clothes were discarded everywhere a long with several skins placed haphazardly on a small table. It wasn't that Estess meant to be messy, it was just, there were so much things to better spend one's time doing.
On a couch that was rather large for the little green, slept Zhatiath. She was tiny in the way of her rider and in fact many said they looked alike were it not for the human and dragon difference. The green slept on, oblivious. She had eaten earlier in the day and was now sleeping off two large herdbeasts.
Estess produced the skin of wine and miraculously two glasses that looked clean. Presenting them to Evalos with a little curtsey and another giggle, she popped the stopper and poured. Predictably a bit sloshed out on the floor but managed to avoid the nearby pile of clothes. "Ah sir, your wine as promised!"

"Ah ha." He took a moment to look at her place. It was chaotic but for some reason it did not bother him overly much. Maybe he could coerce a drudge to come clean it for her. Then again maybe she thrived on chaos.
His eyes rested on the small green at long last. Dragons were always amazing to him and a drunk him especially. "Its wonderful how the noise doesn't wake them. Zhatiath is as beautiful as her rider." And probably just as much trouble... He smiled as his gaze moved to Estess.
"A toast, to drinking wine and having fun." He sipped the wine first, noting the flavor. It was a very good white. Evalos needed to remember to get on the good side of the vintners. He finished off his glass quickly after that. "I have the feeling you are going to out drink me tonight." He laughed and watched her drink her wine.

She had emptied about half her glass as he spoke, noting his eyes lingering on Zhatiath. And why not, she was a very looking green. Small, but all proportioned well and in good color. "That one could sleep through threadfall I swear. She put away two beasts today and no trying."
Of course all the wing drills E'dian had them going through lent itself to her appetite, but Estess was never one to sell her dragon short. And neither was she one to avoid talking about the green, Estess could likely write whole stories in adoration to the green that was her lifelong partner.
Looking back at Evalos her eyes wrinkled merrily, as beautiful as her rider indeed. He wasn't too bad himself really, tall and well muscled but not too bulky. Which, happened to be just the way Estess liked them, lucky her. She raised her glass in the toast then finished it. "Ah well, I've out drunk many a man among other things."

Evalos was a bit envious when she spoke of Zhatiath. What he wouldn't give to be a rider. He would probably do anything. Except beg. Begging was for losers and he was not a loser. The young man decided to tear his eyes away from both woman and dragon and take a better look at the room.
"I would not doubt it." He said amiably. The room was wobbly and he wondered if he should even think about more wine. Maybe a break from wine would be better. He did not want to start throwing up in her weyr.
Instead of admitting defeat he tried to worm his way out wiht a better excuse than vomitting. Looking into her now glassy, brown eyes, he knew she was about as tipsy as he was. "I'd better not have anymore. You might try to take advantage of me." She was the one with the higher rank after all.

Take advantage, oh dear. Estess burst into giggles and flopped backwards onto her bed. It was several moments before she could gather the breath to respond. Sitting back up, she was still half giggling. "My dear, somehow I don't think even you drunk would let down that wall of yours far enough to be 'taken advantage' of."
She leaned forward to pull off her boots and immediately regretted it as the room spun. Whooopsie, maybe she'd better hold off on more wine. That white was a little stronger than she had realized. It took her a minute to adjust and then she pulled off her boots, wriggling toes gratefully.
Looking back up at Evalos, she noticed him glancing about the room. Estess huffed and raised an eyebrow. Maybe this was a tad too quiet for the man. "Would you prefer somewhere else?"

He grinned. Perhaps not but then again no one had ever tried. Had they? Evalos watched her fall into her bed and laughed. The bed looked very comfortable. Much better than the ones they had in the Barracks.
Evalos walked toward the bed, like a man in a dream. Was this happening? He was not sure but he did not think he cared if it was real or not. Sitting on the bed beside her he took his shoes off too. Oh wow, he needed to go slower. Spinney spinney spinney...
"This is great. Much better than the Barracks." Why did she think he did not like it? Oh there he went again dwelling on the negative. Just let go, have fun. Evalos proceeded then to touch her hand with his own. "I find you very interesting and fun to be around. I think we should continue having fun. " Touchy feely drunk that he was now actually believed that. Then he leaned over to kiss her cheek. He was going slow because he did not want to offend her.

Normal Estess was not very picky, but drunk Estess had about the same restraint as a green in a mating flight. As he sat down on the bed she laughed softly, better than the barracks, sharding right it was.
Well now, she watched mutely as he pulled off his shoes, laughing inwardly as he had the same problem she did. At least she was not to suffer wine induced dizziness alone. Continue having fun, Estess had no qualms about that.
Before Evalos could connect his kiss with her cheek, Estess had turned and had her arms looped over his shoulders and her lips firmly placed against his. Which was a bit of a feat in of itself considering just how drunk she was at the moment.
Leaning back for a moment, the challenging grin returned as she regarded the man in front of her. Too bad Zhatiath was asleep, she normally enjoyed encounters like this as much as her rider did. "I've got no objections to that."

Evalos was suprised but did not end the kiss. Instead kissing her back with a passion to match her own. When she broke off and spoke he smiled. "Oh?" He grinned and kissed her again. He felt rather lucky actually to have had his night become so much better than it had.
The Candidate girls were not nearly as fun or as interesting as Estess. Besides she was more likely nearer to his own age and most likely more experienced in one night affairs. He could do this without it jeopordizing his Candidacy. It was long term relationships that he would not be able to uphold should he impress.
His hands began to move of their own accord, one rested on her face, the other slid up from her waist towards her shoulders. Evalos had not done this in much longer than he cared to admit. Fortunately this was something one never forgot how to do.

Hmm right, on a list of good ideas, right now this ranked right up near the top. Estess turned her head, hair now in thorough frazzles and nipped Evalos's fingers. His big hands did fit against her face well, that was for sure. The sides of her eyes wrinkled as she smiled back at him.
"You were right, the quiet is much nicer." She sincerely hoped this young man Impressed, he deserved it. Estess was no Searchrider but Evalos had nice eyes. Really, she couldn't imagine why he hadn't Impressed yet. Other than maybe the fact that there were just so few dragons to choose. He probably just hadn't met the right dragon yet.
Sliding forward, Estess kept her arms wrapped loosely around his neck. Then, it happened; it was like a runner running into the side of a hold. She hiccuped. The greenrider blushed slightly and giggled. She never giggled this much, it must be the wine.

The youth could only agree with her. Quiet was nicer and so was being in private. There was so much more that they could do here. His smile never wavered even as she nibbled on his fingers. It felt delightful, though the wine had obviously numbed his fingers a little.
"Quiet and private... its much better than staying at the Night Hearth." He nodded in agreement. The hand on her shoulder moved back down so that it rested on her slight waist. He was glad she was as amiable as he was at the moment.
Even as she hicupped he was not put off. He laughed as much as she was giggling. Anyone else might find them to be a bit foolish in this wine induced fun. Evalos was quite content to be lauging and having some fun for a change, no matter how foolish it may be.

After a minute or two her giggles dissipated and Estess found herself leaning forward to plant another kiss on Evalos' lips. They really did look like they needed another kiss or two. Burying her head in his shoulder, she found herself giggling once more. The back of her mind noted just how foolish she must look at this moment, but Estess dismissed it faster almost than it sprung into her mind. The nearness of the man rushed through her at that moment and she was instantly aware of Zhatiath being awake.
Estess knew without looking that one faceted blue eye was cracked and watching them. The greenrider snugged against Evalos more, a small smile crossing her lips. Your head is going to hurt in the morning. His is too. Shh love, it won't if we sleep long enough. Silent emotions ran between both dragon and rider and Zhatiath wholly approved of the lust in the air, though the green wondered privately at the amount of restraint. She did not always understand humans.
Estess lifted her head to look Evalos in the eyes once more. He really did have nice eyes, had she noticed that before. The slight woman lifted a finger to her lips in the universal gesture for quiet. "Shh, shes awake."
I will hear you regardless of noise. At that comment, Estess couldn't help but giggle once more. She and her green shared everything, Evalos was not going to be any different.

The candidate was not at all put off by the kisses. He rather enjoyed them. Evalos was still smiling foolishly when she buried her head in his shoulder. Lightly he kissed the top of her dark haired head. All the while he was unaware that the small green on the stone couch was watching them with one eye.
He was certain that the dragon would not care what they were doing or Estess, even in a drunken state would not have brought him here. Evalos was a little surprised when she stated the green was awake and to be quiet. "Won't she hear you anyway?" He did not have a dragon, yet, though he was quite sure he knew what he was talking about.
Evalos still felt that the chase was on, since she continued to pause and wait. That was the way of greens and their riders, apparently. Slowly his arm came up around her to bring her snuggling form closer to his body. He could feel the temperature of his skin becoming warmer. She should not keep him waiting too long.

Walking her fingers up his chest, Estess found herself giggling once again. Behind her, Zhatiath's one open eyelid slid downwards till only the smallest fraction was open. But her light touch never left Estess's mind. When the green was awake, they were always in close contact. Estess bit her lower lip as she leaned back to regard the young man before her. Well, he was being a gentleman wasn't he?
She huffed, well it seemed she would have to do all the work herself. Ah well, he would learn, especially if he managed to Impress before he was too old. The dragons made everything different. Perched back on the bed, Estess began to unbutton her shirt slowly. If she was going to do the work, she was sure going to have a little fun in doing it.
Hiccuping again, she was vaguely aware of the little green's amusement behind her. But, it was hard enough focusing on undoing her buttons when the room was spinning so. It really should stop that, it was so distracting.

One moment too late he realized he should have been helping her out of her clothes. The young man almost blushed in embarrassment. It had been TOO long. Instead of getting in her way, he began to follow suit. His shoes were first to come off followed by his shirt.
As he began to get the shirt over his head where it got stuck for a few minutes. Evalos decided then that he must have big ears and laughed loudly at the thought. The shirt was finally forced over his head and then flung through the air to land somewhere in the mess that was Estess' weyr.
Now bare chested he looked over Estess lustfully. She was certainly a pretty woman... perhaps more than pretty. He was not going to admit any of this to himself later. Fumbling with the button on his pants he cursed and then laughed. What else could he do? After he loosened up a bit the button was not as much trouble.
He found less resistence with getting his pants off than with his shirt. He still had his underwear on but he was waiting to see if she needed any assistance, though he very much doubted she would.
