((Wonder, I'm sorry if any of this is construed as godmod. I just am anxious to see where this goes.))
Gaelle paced down the hallways with nervous speed. Her anxious thoughts flitted between guilt and righteous pleasure. The path to R'lec's weyr was not a long one, and still, she worried about being seen. The weyrwoman also wondered what effect this may have on her dragon. But she needed support, she needed love, and E'dian just didn't seem to want to satisfy her.
Lately, R'lec had always been there when E'dian was gone. He made her laugh, massaged the stress from her shoulders, and wiped the tears from her rosy cheeks. While E'dian cared for the Weyr, R'lec cared for the Weyrwoman. And although Gaelle knew E'dian would be crushed, she was torn between hurting him and fulfilling her own desires. It was a selfish beast she fed, but it was difficult with her weyrmate constantly gone. And R'lec did not want for charm.
She rounded a corner and started counting the doors. The third on the right belonged to R'lec, according to E'dian's wing assignments. The Weyrleader had left them and several other documents of interest on his desk, and she had perused them prior to making her trip. As she approached his door in a hurry, she paused, and her breath quickened. What if R'lec was otherwise engaged with another woman? Gaelle knew R'lec was said to be the lover of many. Her mind told her she had already come this far, and really had nothing to lose anyway. She took the last few steps.
Not wanting to linger in the corridor, Gaelle quickly stepped into the wingrider's room, silently shutting the door behind herself. It was mid-evening, and she had no idea where he might be. "R'lec? Are you here?" She adjusted her breezy tunic and thin, sequined pant self-consciously. "I let myself in...hope you're here," she continued, aware of the volume of her words.
