[Redden]

Naynaa stared up a the ceiling, arms behind her head, upper body propped up on her sleeping browns torso. In general he seemed to be doing fine just still sleeping a lot. In away she wishes this training would go faster, maybe when they start getting down to the real training things will be less strained between everyone. It would not hurt for you to try more to be personable. The girl laughs out loud and just shakes her head.

I suppose it is good you find it humorous but I speak the truth. You speak little else but for now I will do as I need to, time will come. Why are you not sleeping as well, the sun as long since gone to bed and so should you. I do believe you promised me another bath in the morning. I did, and we will, you will just have to get me up again. I always do, now go to sleep. I will... eventually.

Sitting up from Niddalath's side she lets out a loud yawn and stretches. Out loud she chuckles, "who knows what I would do with out you, " Patting the browns side she simply sits there looking around the barracks, "This place is so quiet..."

[Rowen]

Letting out a soft sigh after just finishing cleaning the last barrack Rekka glanced around. She'd managed to avoid the other wyer women by taking on a chore and not telling anyone vanishing into the wyerling barracks. No one had found her there and she'd managed to relax for a few minutes and simply do what she had always done. Take care of the wyer in any way she could, she just happened to choose the form today.

Hearing 'This place is so quiet...' spoken nearby Rekka paused and glanced inside the nearest room spotting the dragon and rider. Her mouth was open and speaking before she even knew she was going to say anything. "It usually is about this time of night, everyone is usually sleeping except for those who have night duty." Knowing she couldn't just leave after speaking Rekka waited to see what the rider's reaction would be to someone eves dropping on them. Berating herself as she waited.

[Redden]

"It usually is about this time of night, everyone is usually sleeping except for those who have night duty." A voice comes from outside of the room, Nanyaa leans out farther to see who spoke. A weyr woman she'd never talked to before was just outside the door. "Or those whom simply do not sleep well..." Niddalath leans his head out as well blocking the girls view of the door with his large neck and head. With a laugh she shoves the browns head aside while standing and moving to the door.

"Is everything okay?" Nanyaa give the woman a sideways glance through her mess of brown hair.

[Rowen]

Rekka blinked in surprise at the riders question. 'Is everything okay? Well I think so..' Smiling to reassure her Rekka nods. "I'm sure everything is alright.." Noticing the brown Rekka remembers the last impressions. 'She's the woman who impressed a brown quite a bit of a celebrity we had a few of those.. Nanna? No... Nan something.. Oh no I really need to start paying more attention!'

Trying to keep her expression from showing her thoughts Rekka tilted her head slightly to the side to have decent look in the room. "Having trouble sleeping then?"

[Redden]

"Trouble? No more then usual I suppose... sleeping is not one of my better talents." She offers an awkward but sincer smile. See it is not that hard to be social. That is enough out of you. Well be nice, I am the only one you speak to and that needs to change. It will... eventually. How about now? Stop pushing. The Brown gives a very loud snort but cranes his head even more simply to annoy Nanyaa.

The young girl shakes her head with a sigh, "I suppose not used to anyone paying me much attention unless there is an issue that needs to be addressed. Since I am up and ... " Turns her gaze back to Niddalath raising her voice slightly, "Someone needs far more rest then I do... " Looks back at the woman through her matted uneven hair, "anything I can help with?"

[Rowen]

'I get the feeling I walked into a dragon and rider conversation... It's amazing some of the awkward situations that have happened much like this.. Just hope I don't say something that will get me in trouble.. Now if only I could remember her name....' Rekka watched the interaction between rider and dragon.

"Ah help with? You mean help me?" Rekka managed to cover up most of her surprise. 'Of course she means me! You must be real tired Rekka you're talking to yourself in your head..' "Ah no I just finished cleaning the vacant barracks. I was just.. Walking past when I heard.. You."

'You really should ask her what her name is.. It's not polite to ask someone out right who they are when you SHOULD know who they are... You were even there when they impressed!' Biting back a sigh at her own thoughts Rekka smiled instead. "Is there anything I can help you with? Or perhaps get you something? If you're having trouble sleeping you could always try some of the techniques that I've heard about.. I don't know if they work personally..."

[Redden]

The girl gives a soft smile, the woman seems to be as uncomfortable with casual conversation as she. "I really do not know anything that will help..." Biting her lip she realizes she has no clue what this woman's name is. "Forgive me... I am not sure your name... I feel silly for not asking sooner... I'm Nanyaa, ... you are?" Hoping that will make the interaction a little less odd.

[Rowen]

'Nanyaa! Ha I was right it was Nan something.. Nanyaa nanyaa..' Rekka chanted the name in her mind in a hope that she wouldn't end up calling Nanyaa Nan on accident. "Rekka." Smiling Rekka gestured in at Nanyaa's room and the dragon there in. "I was there at the last hatching, it was quite something wasn't it?"

Rekka had to admit she felt weird, this was one of the longest conversations she'd had in quite awhile. Most of her conversations consisted of what needed to be done that day, and what the best and fastest way to do it was... This conversation made Rekka feel just a smidgen uncomfortable even though it seemed Nanyaa felt the same way. 'It's been awhile since I had casual conversation.. I really should talk more with other people...'

[Redden]

Nanyaa takes a step back with a gesture as well letting Rekka step in if she wishes to get a better look at Niddalath if she wishes. "It was... first one I had ever been to, did not know what to expect nor did I expect to get Niddalath. But I am stuck with him now." The corners of her mouth curl up in a slight smirk.

It was very unusual to be just idly speaking, rarely did even her brother speak this way with her. Well at this rate her brown was amused and content and she had not melted from the interaction. What could it hurt to continue.

[Rowen]

Rekka stepped just inside to look at Niddalath before looking back at Nanyaa. "Stuck? I think you wouldn't have it any other way would you? Having a dragon is quite something, or so I've been told. Don't you enjoy it?" Rekka smiled feeling that she already knew most of the answers. She lifted a hand and rubbed her eye, the effects of the long day catching up with her.

[Redden]

She chuckles softly, "I do, it was mostly a jest, he is as much a handful for me as I am sure I am to him." The brown gives a very loud snort and curls back up on his couch. "See what I mean." The girl gestures at the dragon again still smirking. "You seem tired, if I am keeping you I am sorry."

[Rowen]

Rekka smiled. "I.." She stopped her eyes widening. "Oh! I have to go.. It was nice talking with you." She started to leave but turned back. "You should try sleeping, I hear that dragon's can be quite loud in the morning to a sleepy rider." Rekka smiled again. "Hope to talk again sometime. Bye Niddalath. Bye Nan..yaa." 'That was close...' Rekka thought to herself as she walked away. 'They're going to wake me up early I just know it... I'll have to hide tonight and sleep somewhere they won't expect.. They'll be like wyerries!

[Redden]

Just waving she she simply sighs and looks back at Niddalath. Shrugging she curls back up with him and attempts to drift off to sleep. No wonder she had never really connected with people. There all so flighty, different and hard to read. Both dragon and rider confused and sleepy finally drift off til the dawn breaks.
